Sampo Bank became a part of the Danske Bank group in February 2007. Danske Bank wish to create a unique banking products model and collect best practise – the Danske Banking Concept – in all of its fields of activity.

Various brands in the group uses the same operation models and products. The principle of one platform is the basic pillar of the group's strategy. It is more cost-efficient to maintain and develop one information system than several small systems. This way Sampo Bank also gets a significant advantage over the competition on low information technology and system costs.
Although we follow a shared Banking Concept, Sampo Bank retains its own special characteristics and high-level banking culture. We emphasis that Sampo Bank's way of operating is always more customer-oriented than our competitors'.
We want to handle the entire banking matters of both our private and corporate customers as one entity, instead of selling only one product. Only by listening to our customers better than our competitors, we can be better than other banks.
Thanks to the Danske Bank Group, Sampo Bank has the resources of large bank group available to it. With wider product selection, more efficient information system resources and a strong financial position we can better challenge our competitors in the banking markets in Finland.
