Sampo Bank initiated a change process in Finnish leadership development in 2006 through the introduction of the Junior Management Group recruitment and training programme. It provides ambitious junior professionals with an opportunity to train themselves and work in responsible tasks within Sampo Bank's organisation.
The persons chosen for the Junior Management Group 2007 programme were recruited directly to responsible tasks at Sampo Bank's new finance centres. Alongside their jobs, they will be trained for the tasks of a branch manager.
