The Web Payment Service requires a specific agreement between the service provider and Sampo Bank. Introduction of the Web Payment Service also requires the service provider to have an e-commerce site on the Internet for selling products. Furthermore, the service provider's system must be able to produce an invoice with reference number for the products ordered by the customer using WWW technology. Sampo Bank's Web Payment Service does not require the service provider to use any specific server software.
Security of the service
The transmission of payment information between the service provider and bank and between the buyer and bank is secure and protected. The bank identifies both the payer and the service provider upon web payment. In addition, the web payment data is protected using SSL encryption.
Each party is responsible for the protection and security of its services and the correctness of data stored by it. The customer and the service provider are responsible for ensuring that Sampo Bank's means of identification and authentication do not fall into the hands of outsiders.
The web payment button must reside in the service provider's own transaction service. The web payment button or a link to it must not be attached to an email message.
The web payment service screens must always open in a separate window on the e-commerce Web pages. Frames must not be used.
When the e-commerce site is completed
We expect a notification to verkkomaksu@sampopankki.fi.
On the basis of the notification, we will add the e-commerce site to the Shopping Point pages on our Web site.
