With the new Debit MasterCard you can pay for your purchases in merchants displaying the MasterCard identifier, both in Finland and abroad. Purchases made abroad will also be debited directly from your current account - in much the same way as domestic debit card purchases.
 

Debit MasterCard works in much the same way as a domestic debit card, but it can also be used abroad. The card does not include a credit facility but purchases will be debited directly from the company's bank account.

With Debit MasterCard you can:

  • pay for purchases in merchants displaying the MasterCard identifier in Finland and abroad.
  • withdraw cash from your bank account, both in Finland and abroad.
  • pay for your purchases on the Internet through merchants who accept MasterCard.

 Debit MasterCard is suitable for you if

  • you require a card that you can use both in Finland, abroad and on the Internet.
  • you require a card with which your purchases are debited directly from your curren account.
