If I forget my password,  how can I get a new one?

Your password is the same 4-digit number as your PIN. If you have forgotten your password, the most convenient way to obtain a new one is to visit your nearest Sampo Bank branch. You will not incur a charge for this service.

If you live outside Finland or are unable to visit one of our branches, you can request a new temporary password by using our online order form on our website or by contacting our Customer Service team on +358 (0) 200 2590 (lnc/mnc) Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. A new password will be sent to you using an advice of delivery service, to be picked up from your local post office. Please note that you will be required to sign for this item. A service charge will be debited from your account for this service.

The temporary password issued to you by Sampo Bank will remain valid for a period of 30 days.
When you log on to the service for the first time using your bank identifiers, you will be asked to change this password to a 4-digit PIN number. It is advisable to choose a number that will be easy for you to remember. However, we recommend that you avoid numbers that others might be able to guess, such as your date of birth or the last digits of your personal identity code. You should also never re-enter an old PIN.
