On the homepage of the new Web Bank you will see the Inbox, as well as any notifications and announcements, for example regarding new e-invoices.

Overview of your disposal, credit and loan accounts

On the homepage you will also see an overview of your account balances and funds available. For additional account information, simply click on the account name.

Menus

When you click on a heading in the left-hand menu, you will see the services related to that section. To view the other Web Bank sections, return by clicking on Homepage.

The upper menu of the Web Bank includes other useful links, for example to Unconfirmed payments and Log out.

By clicking on the  symbol in front of the account name you can view the services related to that account.

 Useful links

The Useful links section on the right of the screen includes links to the most popular Web Bank services, such as payments and transactions.

Help

For detailed instructions for each page, click on the ? symbol in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

2. PAYMENTS

In the new Web Bank the appearance of payment forms will be different, and payments will be confirmed using a 4-digit password. The security codes on your security card will no longer be required for confirming payments.

New payment
When making a new payment you can still choose whether to confirm the payment immediately or later. The same form can be used for transferring funds between accounts and withdrawing funds from cards.

Unconfirmed payments
Payments that have not yet been confirmed can be found in the “Payments” section in the left-hand menu, as well as from the upper menu under “Unconfirmed payments”. In addition you will be reminded about any unconfirmed payments when you logout from the Web Bank.

Payments falling due
Payments falling due can be viewed and changed via the list of account transactions.

Recurring payments, direct payments and e-invoices
Information about your valid agreements can be found from the left-hand menu under the section “Payment agreements”. Here you can also make changes to your agreements and make new agreements.

Beneficiary register
The beneficiary register can be used for both domestic and foreign payments. The length of the beneficiary’s name can be no longer than 20 characters.

3. ACCOUNTS

Balances
All cash, credit and loan account balances and funds available can be viewed on both the homepage and the “Balances” page.

Account numbers are displayed in the new Web Bank without hyphens as a single 14-digit number.

By clicking on the symbol in front of the account name you can view the transactions and other information related to that account. By dragging your mouse over the symbol you can see the name of the owner of the account.

Transactions
On the “Transactions” page you can view both past and future transactions for each account, such as payments falling due and reservations for purchases made by credit card.

Transactions are stored on the list for one year. You can search for transactions on specific dates or by type of transaction using the search and sorting function.

Naming accounts and selecting default account
You can name your accounts on the “Settings” page. The length of the account name can be no longer than 20 characters.

On the same page you can also select which account you want to appear first under the list of accounts. Other accounts will be listed in alphabetical order.

Classification
The “Own classification” service will no longer be available. A new classification service will be introduced at a later date.

4. CARDS

Credit cards
The balance of your credit account can also be viewed on the homepage of the new Web Bank. By clicking on the credit account name you can view the transactions.

Transactions
On the “Transactions” page you can view both past and future transactions, such as reservations for purchases made by credit card. In addition you can view parallel card transactions, plus any annual fees or invoice charges.

Transactions can also be accessed via the “Cards” section, where they are listed separately for each card. By clicking on the card you can view all the purchases and cash withdrawals made with that card.

Transfer from credit card
Transfers from credit cards can be made in the “New payment” section, in which you select your credit account as the charge account (“From account”). The funds will become available immediately.

This service is also available the other way round: if you want to transfer money from your disposal account to your credit account, select your disposal account as the charge account (“From account”) and your credit account as the receiver (“To account”). The funds will then be transferred to your credit card immediately and not after a few days as at present.

The receiver can be your own disposal account or any other beneficiary. Accordingly, it will be possible with the new Web Bank to pay invoices directly from your credit account.

Visa card information
If you are in possession of a Visa card issued by Luottokunta, it will appear in the “Cards” section where you can view transactions, for examples. However, you will no longer be able to make changes to your Visa card.

The Visa account that appears on the homepage is a new card account issued by Sampo Bank. Transactions can be viewed only after you have received your new card and begun using it. Your new card will appear in the “Cards” section in April before you have received your card. Afterwards you will be able to make changes to your card via the Web Bank as before.

5. LOANS

Balances
Your loan account balance and funds available can be viewed on the homepage and on the “Balances” page, which also lists your other cash and credit accounts.

By clicking on the symbol in front of the loan account name you can view the transactions and other information related to that loan. More information about payment schemes is available from your local Sampo Bank branch.

Transactions
On the “Transactions” page you can view both past and future transactions, such as payments falling due.

Transactions are stored on the list for one year. You can search for transactions on specific dates or by type of transaction using the search and sorting function.

Invoices and direct debit notifications
Advance notification about invoices and direct payments can be received directly to your new Web Bank instead of by post if you have made a Web Bank archive agreement. A message will appear on the homepage of the Web Bank informing you when a new document has arrived.

Documents can also be accessed via the menu on the left under “Agreements and archive”.

Documentation of interest paid in 2007
Remember to print out or order documentation of interest paid in 2007 from the current Web Bank no later than 20 March 2009. Documentation of interest paid in 2007 will not be available in the new Web Bank.

6. INVESTMENTS

Assets
The front page of the “Investments” section features news for investors and an overview of your stock market investments by book-entry account and fund investments by fund portfolio, as well as their values.

On the same page you can also see the book-entry accounts and fund portfolios for which you have authorisation, for example on behalf of your children. By dragging your mouse over the symbol you can see the name of the owner.

Information about your pension and investment insurance policies can be viewed by clicking on “Insurance” in the left-hand menu.

Trading
In the new Web Bank you can trade in equities in 15 markets in 13 different countries.

You can perform a transaction by selecting either “Trading” or “Market information” in the left-hand menu. Information about individual shares or funds can be accessed using the search function. Click on the symbol in front of the security and choose the desired function, for example “Purchase”.

Confirming transactions
All transactions are confirmed using the 4-digit password (currently the ID number).
