The bank identifiers are personal and may not be passed on to third parties. Take good care of your bank identifiers. We recommend that you commit your password to memory and never write it down.
- You are responsible for any consequences that may arise if others get access to your bank identifiers.
- Always use eBanking in a place you trust, e.g. at home or at your own workstation at work.
- Use an updated browser, which supports at least 128-bit SSL encryption
- Use log on to eBanking either from our home page or from your own browser favourites and never from a link received by email.
- Do not store your user ID, password or security numbers on the computer.
- Do not distribute your user ID, password or security card data online or to any service provider, even if encouraged to.
- Sampo Bank will never request such information by email, phone or mail. If you contact the bank, you might be asked to state your user ID, but not your password or security numbers.
- Always exit eBanking by clicking log off. We recommend that you close the browser window after this.
- If log off does not work for some reason, close the browser window.
- If you suspect that others have gained knowledge of your password or security number, immediately block your bank identifiers on our home page, within eBanking or by calling us
- In general be carefull with clicking on links to web-sites, that you do not know
